Sarah Cheung Johnson

As a mum, wife and daughter of elderly Longstanton residents, I will work every day to protect local services, from social care to transport. Cuts to children's services and funding for health visitors have already directly impacted my daughter - so when I say I care, it's not just me paying lip service. These things matter to me because they directly affect my family, home and community.

I moved to Longstanton 3 years ago, after a decade in Investment Banking IT, latterly as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs. We have loved making this village our home with our 2 young children. I actively want to give back to this community and make it better by using my skills and experience gained from my 12 year Project Management career and Community Charity Trustee and have already begun by vounteering as a Governor to Hatton Park Primary School.

We are on the cusp of a great period of change, and I believe Longstanton, Northstowe and Over divsion needs a strong voice and an active presence in the community - we cannot afford to have passive representation for our villages.

If elected, I will:

- Be that strong voice at County Council. I'm not afraid to make a fuss or stand up for what is right for us as villages.

- Hold monthly surgeries to listen to residents concerns face to face

- Ensure local bus services meet demand - I campaigned and got assurances from Stagecoach of extra peak time buses on the Busway by May

- Fight to ensure local services and transport are up to scratch for Northstowe and our surrounding villages
